Buffalo gores to death suspected poacher

A resident of Kwa Mromboo in Arusha, Cassian Kipara (35) has been gored to death by an infuriated buffalo after the illegal hunter had killed 2 other Buffalos in Monduli hills forest on July 22 at about 1 pm.

Narrating the incident, the Arusha Regional Police Commander (RPC), Basilio Matei told reporters Kipara met his fate while illegally hunting using his unlicensed gun numbered 22965 AG.

Kipara rode to the forest on his own TOYO motorcycle number T 229 BGA

The beast attacked and fatally wounded Kipara on his thigh and apparently died of excessive bleeding. The late Kipara’s remains were discovered by some passersby crossing the forest. They called Police who collected the body and the late man’s property. The body was taken to Mount Meru hospital Morgue.
