A .45-70 lacks penetration for safe use on elephant- proved time and again. A hard cast 600grn lead bullet at 1700 to 1900 fps from .458 win and .458 lottss was not sufficiently reliable for PH use - a client with some one to back him and who can pick his shots could use them but a 45-70 naw and then the guy says he wants to go it alone without a PH.

He's a troll. Don't waste your time dealing with him. Save your powder for discussions with real hunters. This guy hasn't demonstrated any expertise beyond the statement " I hunt" and a claim that he's going to Namibia. I suspect that both are flights of fancy. If we ignore him, he'll go away.

To all honest and true sportsman the time has come to 'Shun' this individual...His attitude to call many liars and crooks..Is unacceptable...Yes we tease members whom we have communicated with...But these unwelcomed individuals care nothing but only to try to belittle and insult...

It's pretty obvious from his posts that the Candy Ass is neither a hunter nor an adult. He has never spent a night in the woods nor ever shot an animal of any kind. His experiance as a biggame hunter in North America and other parts of the world has only taken place on Cabella's Deer Hunter videos. Why you fellows bother to try and educate the uneducatable is beyond me.

As one how has not been, i come to read and learn from my betters, on the subject, although some may be rash or rude in answering post, it is the norm I have found that it is at the end of some very long BULL SHIT from those who don't know, so with that I guess Mr.C will be added to my ignore list.
