1- Cheering the death of hunters.
2- Attacking those who have different political views.
3- Destroying the property of others because you were upset at the results of an election.
4- Publically funded universities with riots or near riots because students were not happy with speakers.
5- Being harassed because I bought a bear license.
The list goes on and on and on.......
There is serious mental illness in the world, far more than I ever thought possible.
There might be some people that I might be happy to see die. I would collectively call them criminals, the worst of the worst. There are people that I seriously dislike in this world. Hillary for example. I would not cheer her death. I don't like her aide Huma, nor do I like her politics but I feel awful for her for what she has had to endure from her whack job husband.
From what I see on TV I am beginning to wonder if I am the odd one.
Even places one wouldn't suspect, the cheers for the death of the PH, claiming Karma, are hugely outnumbering the dismay for his death. 4 pages on the Corvette Forum and only a few are expressing sympathy for the PH.
It sure isn't the way we grew up.

BuffHunter63I just posted a rant on FB after seeing where a bunch of idiots cheered the death of Mr. Botha.
I hope karma pays them a visit.

Northtexas12It always amazes me to see all of these cretins on social media get all smug and self- righteous over another persons death simply because he did something they disapproved of.

1BigDeerI didn't personally know him, but I am so sorry for him and his family. RIP
If karma exists, I pity those so callous to rejoice in such a tragic event.

Michael RobinsonThis is a hard case and awful outcome.
I was not there, but I have been in similar situations - among herds, or faced, and seemingly stared down, or menaced, by multiple buffalo or lions or elephant, any one or more of which could have killed me easily, if they had wanted to do so.
One cannot predict which way these things will break.
I do believe that it is easy to make a mistake in such circumstances. But I also believe that it is possible to do everything right, and still get killed while hunting these beasts.
My sympathy and condolences to Mr. Botha's family and friends.
Mike
Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.
What gets me is all the hunters who say it's OK to hunt deer etc. but they could not ever shoot an elephant. Anyone who says it's OK to kill a deer (or mice or rats for that matter) is simply guilty of racial/species prejudice. They are as morally bankrupt as someone who would say it's OK to beat up women as long as they're ugly women.

Life is short. Hunt hard.

tomahawkerThe anti-hunting propaganda is insidious. It's found everywhere in the media and has been for literally decades. It's not always obvious and overt as Bambi. The local zoo just named a new polar bear cub Amelia Grey. This naming(humanizing) is just one facet of an enormous campaign, some of it sub conscious. It started with the kids and they are now getting gray hairs. We need to stay the course, it's not all bad. We have many victories. But we are losing the T.V./movie scene and that's whats kids nowadays know best.
