Just found out chris died back on Jan. 8. Didnt know if anybody knew or everybody knew. Really loved seeing Chris at SCI puttering around. Always a nice humble guy. Never would have known what he had done unless you talked to him. My friend RJ and I were walking around with Chris one day at the show when we walked past an asian sheep hunt booth. He stopped and looked, and said it took me and burt four years to to be able to do that hunt, now you just get on a plane and go. Then he just headed out down the aisle. I for one will miss you Chris. RIP

Sorry to hear.

The Klineburgers did some amazing things hunting-wise in their lives. They kind of remind me of a later version of Bwana Charles Cottar. If there are campsites in the next world, surely they are telling tales...

Very sad. Chris was a personal friend of mine. I was never informed of his death until now. I just talked to another friend who confirmed that I should have been on the email about it. Unfortunately I wasn't. The funeral was last Saturday. My sincerest condolences to his lovely wife Grace.

I’m saddened to read that Chris has passed. He was a good man, helpful, friendly and humble. He helped me with a few hunts back in the 1980’s, glad that I knew him a bit. I hope he’s now in a land of big sheep on gentle mountains.
