I am leaving for a PG hunt in Botswana Tuesday morning, April 22.

I have just been notified by the PH that there is a PAC elephant available as well.

I would like to take my 404 Jeffery for the elephant, but I do not have any solids loaded, plenty of softs, but no solids.

We have called a few shops in J0-Burg, and none have solids in stock.

Does anyone in the Southern California area have 10 404 Jeffery solids that I can get my hands on by Monday evening?

Just a shot in the dark, but if anyone does, I'd be very grateful!

I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

Steve,
You may try asking Rusty. I believe he has a 404J. and he will help you out if he can! Another possible source is Surperior Ammo...They may be able to whip you up some in a pinch.

Good luck.

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! Go over to Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucamonga. I noticed they've got most African game cartridges. I know I saw some .500's but you might give them a call first.

Hi Guys

I will, as a last resort, ask Larry on Monday morning to load some up and overnight them- which he may be able to do...

BassPro is a good idea, last I was there they have 470, 458 and 416 amo, but no 404J

I will keep checking- thank you!
