Sat on a SW airlines plane for 3 1/2 hours trying to get to Reno for SCI this AM. Without so much as a senic taxi around the airport, the Flight was canceled after all that and since (cheap me) only had a day pass for SCI, and is going to be at the shot show here in Las Vegas for the next several days. I am bummed out. Had to do the silent scream somewhere it would be understood.

That has got to be a real pisser! What can we say but ,"Sorry, been there and done that!"

We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!

Frowner arghhhhh.... the not so silent scream!

Our first time to go to SCI Reno and our flight was cancelled a few minutes before we checked in. They were able to rebook us on another flight but we don't leave San Antonio until 10:30 tonight which means we won't get to Reno until 1:30. So, we came home to take a good nap and grab some RedBull for tomorrow. We have our day passes for Fri & Sat and we are not going to miss one minute (I hope). Can't wait, can't wait.

I assume you attended the SHOT & Vegas Gun Shows? How were they? See anything of note?

Spent day one at shot show... legs about gave out, 8 straight without sitting. Overwhelmed by it all. Saw some very cute toys. More tomorrow.

Just because it's in the same state as Las Wages doesn't mean it's the same weather.

Reno is in the Sierras.

Las Vegas is on the edge of the Mojave.

Reno is 300 miles north of Vegas.

Reno is at 5000 feet.

Reno is 50 miles from a 10,000 mountain.

Reno isn't vegas!
