I just got a couple of panels of brown elephant hide back from the tanners. I just sent a chunk off to Russell's for a pair of boots, and some will likely go off to Murray's for a case for my double. I wanted to have some kind of a bag made for my wife, but JW Hulme is no longer making custom items from game hides. Can anyone suggest other makers that could produce a good quality bag for my wife?

I had a briefcase made from my cape buffalo hide by Walden & Bork. The workmanship, quality, and customer service were all top notch. Turnaround was about 3 weeks. The only down side is they are a bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for!

Oldhandgunhunter,
What a cool website. I did not know about that company but am adding their website to my favorites list!

I used Trophy Hides to make a bag out of my leather. They did a great job.
