Shaun Buffee, Brent Hein and John Sharp among others. All three are great PHs.

Nigel Theisen is one of the regulars as well. I did not go this summer due to my son’s baseball schedule but have been the last few. My friend Mike Lindsay who posts here went with him this summer before my usual time and I booked my friend Tom Gary in my slot. Another good friend and longtime client goes after me and is just now returning home from his hunt there with Nigel.

Can’t go wrong with Nigel Theisen.

Nigel and I conducted quite a few hunts together in our younger days when he was employed by Luke Samaras.

Nigel was/is a damn good PH and great company around the campfire and like a good Dane, enjoys a dram or 2 or 3 .... Big Grin

Ross,

I've been in recent correspondence with John Sharpe and he is alive, well and accepting bookings on the Bubye. It's said there is not better PH in Zim.

Did a hunt with Dave Langerman and John Sharp in June. Dave is finally getting the recognition he deserves after mentoring for years under John.

I have the utmost respect for John Sharp as a PH, and his respect for the game he pursues!!
I took my Elephant with John in the Zimbabwe Forestry concession near Gwaii River, 33 paces!! Then we moved to the lowveldt concession he was managing for Walter Eder, and took my huge Leopard, first night in the blind...my 4th leopard hunt after 30 fruitless days in blinds with others!! This is now part of
the Bubeye!! I would hunt there again in a heartbeat!!
Dave has really learned and blossomed with John.
GO FOR IT!!
