A "cherished" grizzly. Roll Eyes

I gotta question why he'd sever the head from the rest of the hide. Makes a lousy rug that way.

The head probably still is attached to the rest of that bear's hide, which can't be seen inside the plane's cabin. The reporter called it "decapitation."

I kinda sorta a little bit somewhat understand women who think hunting is barbaric etc.

But when I read the comments on these type of things, I really wonder about men who write that off the wall bat shit crazy anti-hunting stuff. I mean really, what kind of guy thinks that way?

These reporters have zero grasp of the facts....

Cecil's demise made headlines two months ago when American dentist Walter Palmer, a big-game hunter, illegally shot and killed the southwest African lion in Zimbabwe before posting photos of his kill.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.
