Just returned from 11 day hunt with Infinito Safaris. Flew over Qatar from LAX through Doha and it was seamless. The airport in Doha is, hands down, the nicest airport I've ever been in. No firearms, but they booked our bows as firearms and Qatar had no issues with that, so firearms would not be a problem. Negative covid test to go and it was simple to get tested in RSA a couple of days before flying home.

Simply put, if anyone is considering a trip over this spring or summer, do it. If you're at all smart about it, there won't be issues. The hunting, food, accommodations and company were stupendous. From what I saw the South Africans are cautious and smart about precautions for the virus.

I havent been on AR since around 2011... I remember talking with you online often. I still have my .458Lott. Much has happened since 2011. Only thing that has not happened is my Cape Buffalo hunt. I am on here to figure out where to go do that in 2025. I hope you are well.
