Has any one here had any experience with Limcroma Safaris in RSA?

If so, can you share some info?

All my knowledge of the place is second hand, but I haven't heard anything bad.

I know that Ted Nugent hunted there a couple years ago with some of the members on his hunting message board.

Based on the pictures and stories they posted when they got back they had a good time.

Met a guy in Texas at the airport (forget his name sorry) who had been with Limcroma three times and was planning a forth.

I have been to Adansonia and would recommend it especially for a first Safari.

I've got a hunt booked with Limcroma for July of this year. It will be my first safari, and Hannes Els has been fantastic to work with. I've been booked since March of last year, and as it gets close and it finally starts to become real, I'm getting more and more excited.

Pierce,

I have a booth next to Hannes at the DSC show every year and He has also been a guest of ours here in Corpus Christi, Tx., I have been working with hannes for about three years now and I have not had one bad experience to date. I can say, all the clients that have shipped their trophies to me for mounting have all had quality trophies and good things to say about him. It is always a good visit and I look forward to our next one in a few days at the 07 DSC.

BigGuy, you are correct Uncle Ted hunted with Hannes a couple of years ago, he also came to the 06 DSC show to hang out with Hannes in the booth. Then in the summer of 06 Ted took his family and friends for one more hunt with Hannes.

A group of friends and myself will be hunting with Hannes Sept 07.

Yes, I live in (or just outside of) Clover. We go to Blacksburg occasionally to eat at Kelly's steakhouse... it's only a half hour or so away.

BigGuy: Yes, glad to see other SC folks on here. If I'm correct, I may have seen you post about your safari on Uncle Ted's board under a different name (your picture avatar looks familiar).

Pierce: Tim MacManus has also been a great help in planning my safari. He is a bit easier to get ahold of than Hannes sometimes. If you haven't talked to him yet let me know and I'll get you his contact info.
