I know this is not about African hunting, but I feel it will effect a lot of traveling hunters.
You clear US customs in Toronto on flights bound for the US when flying on Air Canada. If you checked your firearm thru to your US destination, customs will need to see it in Toronto. This means that someone will have to go find your luggage and deliver it to you in customs while you wait, and wait, and wait....
Customs claims that it can take over an hour and a half for Air Canada to find and deliver your luggage.
It seems that passengers without firearms do not have to do this. Only passengers with guns. Other passengers bags are screened somewhere else, and they do not have to claim their bags.
With all the hunters returning from Canadian trip, this is a real nightmare.
