Here's one that I shot for Leopard bait a few years ago in Zimbabwe with PH David Amyot. When we measured him he was 59 1/2 inches on one horn and 58 1/4 on the other and both horns had been broomed off. Suffice it to say, I paid the trophy fee on him rather than the bait fee. I love kudu and would not hesitate in shooting a bull that would be estimated to be over the magical 60 mark no matter how many kudu I had shot.

I know many will disagree, but I've always believed (and I shot my first kudu 20 years ago) that kudu are underrated as to price and status and sable are vastly overrated as to price and status. Kudu and sable should switch places. Kudu are far more majestic.
Beautiful pics.

Good Eland there?

Some serious Eland and here is one for the kitchen. Herman has just started up and is looking to flog some hunts. I am thinking about a group Kudu/PG hunt within the next few months.

What is all quite distressing is that Elephant and Leopard are now shot as problem animals on these private properties.

To me old blue eland are the cat's ass. I rather hunt them, just awesome.

In 2014 on a brisk morning my wife spotted a deep curled Kudu bedded on this mountain over a mile away just below the rock stop near the top third

No zoom

Zoomed 30x

A couple hours later she took a close up pic

I never get tired of looking at kudu bulls, or hunting them. One of God's greatest inventions IMO.

Absolutely however prices are dictated by rarity but a 60 inch Kudu bull will hold its own in any trophy room.
