The rites of Lent and Ramadan have much in common, as do all people in every land on our planet, no matter their faith, or lack thereof.

Peace to all of us, especially to our fellow men and women, and innocent children, in pain and suffering, in Ukraine.

A lot to contemplate this year. And I wish everyone well.

But, maybe we can all unite against a common enemy.

Ramadan, Easter and Passover all converged this year. Hopefully we can all come together as well.

Ah my friend.

Normal people, which I suspect might be at least 90% of the world, wish to get on together.

Live their lives in peace, and letting others do the same.

Sadly, the ones in charge - and here I mean EVEYONE in charge - are a bunch of self serving power hungry crooks.

The COVID crisis brought this right out in the open.

That Horse Teeth Commie Zombie in New Zealand is a perfect example!

Saeed,

Can't help but agree. I have very dear friends of all three faiths and we get along famously. Frankly, I see more friction between Catholics and Protestants than between others. I don't know why we can't all find the common ground, which is most of it, and set aside the differences to be resolved later.

The Russian/Ukrainian conflict is more of a connunbrum. The old Soviet state, which seems like Putin is an advocate of, was an atheist state. But a whole lot of Russians are Orthodox Christians. As are the Ukrainians.

So on a State level, you have an Atheist like Putin killing Christians, including civilians. But on a more basic level, you have Christian soldiers killing other Christians. Sad.

And we've heard horrible stories of rape and torture by Russian troops, just like there were during WWII. And Putin has decorated the troops who allegedly did it. So the only solution I see is if they don't surrender, kill them all (the Russian invaders) and let God sort them out.

I guarantee you this has nothing to do with religion or race or nationality.

Boils down to the sick individuals involved.

Some of the atrocities one reads on the Net every day, from all over the world, defy comprehension!

And when I say the solution is to shoot them, it has nothing to do with race or nationality either. Just the only practical solution.
