A friend of mine told me he booked a Lep/buff hunt in Mozambique with a company called Luwire Safaris. Anybody out there have any experience they can tell me about this company? Thanks for any info.

I am booked next year with them for Lion, 2 Buff, sable, Hippo, Croc, ect.

Derek is a Zim PH. Very good hunter.

They have to ares that Border the Niassa Game Reserve. HUGE AREAS! Suppose to be one of the last frontiers of completely wild Africa. Elephant are monsters there. Big ivory, but can't bring it back.

Leopard are very thick there. Bruce killed one with a bow 2 years ago. There were 3 leopards at the bait and a brawl broke out 5 yds in front of the ground blind.

Leopards probably aren't as big as maybe some on the giant Zim cats, but taking a good leopard should not be any problem.

Buff, I have two booked next year and the grass could be kinda tall. Tell you then if I make it back

I corresponded with them once, they told me they were always fully booked a year in advance....

I had to book the lion hunt 4 years in advance. 2004 for 2008
