Now I know this will immediately cause controversy, well that is why I posted it roflmao

Would there be any interest for a plains game private ranch hunt 2x1 for two [ lady/women/female ] hunters in SA sometime later this year !!!

If there was any interest I can consider investigating the logistics to suit, as our male PH's girlfriend is a [ SA registered PH ]

Maybe we can set something up if there was any interest !!! It would possibly need to be in September sometime as she is presently in Zambia and it might suit some first time female hunters whom might feel more comfortable breaking the ice with a female PH / OR even seasoned female hunters wanting to hunt in Africa would be welcome as well

Just a thought anyhow to mull over

Peter

Can I pay to be an observer? As long as they are all pretty. Wink

thumb I found Jo-anne to be a very pleastant person to visit with, when I met her and Dene at the Houston Safari Club this last January.

Hi Hog Killer

Yes Jo-Anne would be the PH for the ladies hunt if I can drag her away from Zambia where she spends most of the season assisting Dene with the cape buff hunters ///

To others //

That is (real funny) bringing up the free observers debacle again

I know my sides are still hurting from the boot having been put into me ( by some guests) while I was down, when I said we charge $175 for observers, so to all those whom castigated me all the best for the future

Take care

I can echo hog's assessment. I had the opportunity of having dinner with Dene and Jo-Anne and they are both quality folks. Jo-Anne appears not only to be a top caliber ph, but is extremely good looking as well thumb. I dont feel sorry for Dene at all having her in camp! Peter, you need to take the alternative approach, market JoAnne to the guys and Dene to the ladies!!!

I thought you night "enjoy" the comment. Damn I feel this stabbing pain in the back from somehwere. Wink Big Grin

That is also a nice trophy photo of the cape buffalo, the two ladies and the rifle. Like the high grass behind too providing a nice backdrop and deliminating the scene.

Good marketing idea too. thumb

Me and Jim Hackiewicz were wondering what was going on with Jo-Anne. We did PH school together back in 2001.

Peter, please send her best wishes from Jim and myself.

Looks like it's all good in the 'hood!

Pete

Peter: I didn't know Jo-Anne was a PH now. Heck, Dene was an apprentice when I hunted with him. Best of luck to them both.

Hi JD

When you hunted Zambia Dene was awaiting his full PH licence as there is a standown time frame to be served out ///

Basically in Zambia a PH has either a basic plains game licence or the full DG cats licence, Dene now has the full blown ALL species licence which includes DG CATS / He also has the standard Limpopo Province SA licence as well

Jo-Anne ONLY has her South African Limpopo Province PH licence, she did that a number of years ago and was on the same course as JJHack & Peter Millan I believe !!
