Making stuff out of Giraffe skin
Making stuff out of Giraffe skin
Not sure where to put this, but I have a giraffe skin I'd like to make some stuff out of for gifts. A couple lap top bags to begin with. Any good ideas as to who could do it? I'm in Eastern Oregon near Idaho border so closer would be better but not a deal breaker.

Bwana338I use Animal Artistry out of Reno.
I had 2 rifle cases made.
And a pistol case.
Plus...2 Women large and 2 small purses.
I still have one purse left.

470EDDYI had Amanda at Harts Lake Trading Post in Roy/Yelm, WA make small and large duffels with Elk, Moose and Elephant hides, and 2 gun cases with elephant hide.She does superb work and reasonable!!
I took out one of my Boyt rifle cases for a pattern. They came out excellent, lined with sheep skin and trimmed with black leather.

The Giraffe purses probably goes with the zebra and ostrich purses that I have had made.
some times you just have to have a little fashion.
now Frank, I am guessing that your the kind of guy that wears the zebra hat band hat, with a leopard print vest, or is it a zebra print vest.
now that makes you stand out in a crowd so your VIP service can find you when you arrive at the airport.

whisk(e)y hunterIf the skin is tanned and thinned to workable leather then I would highly suggest Justine at Mile High. I’ve shipped her leather/hides in the past and she’s done really great work for us.
