Done as well, but I'm with you. The only reason I knew about this was that I saw this thread on AR. Look on the bright side - we're making progress. An effort to mobilize the troops and fight the good fight, and even arm the troops - we just forgot to notify the troops ....

Thanks for the comment and a big thanks to Larry for posting this on AR. There is a distribution strategy in place based on volume, response rate, and the various tools SCI has in its toolbox.

BaxterBI would posit that individually written letters (even if they say something similar) have much more impact than a fill-in-the-blank-with your-name form letter. Just think about how annoyed we get when we get them back from our representatives; we know they aren't sincere. In just a few minutes with less than a dollar's work of stamps you could have stacks of letters arriving for these people.
And frankly, if those letters left out the part about being a member of SCI it would be best. Otherwise the the genesis of the letters rests on SCI, not with the individuals themselves, where it should be.
Thanks for the names and addresses. I'll send my letters in the next day or so.
