The only source I have found to purchase A-Square solids is Midway USA.

Does anyone else know of retail or factory outlet?

They are awfully expensive for a turned bullet. (More than twice the price of a North Fork or Barnes).

Then, why buy them? Go with the other brands. Wink

George,

Fair question.

I want a RN solid.

The North Fork is a FN and does not feed well in my rifle, which has a very rudimentary feed ramp.

The Barnes is a RN-FN, and I had a load worked up for the old RN but they are no longer available.

The A-Square feeds perfectly in my rifle, shoots to same POI as the North Fork 450 grain bonded soft point, and may be made from a harder metal than the Barnes. It also penetrated a bit more due to being 1 gram heavier.

Also, Ganyana vouched for them.

I understand why you want to stick to a particular round nose, but I suggest that you get the feed ramp polished and round off the semi-sharp corners to your chamber. That way, you don't have to depend only on one type of bullet for your shooting. You've got to be close to a good rifle mechanic in Oregon.

Andy,

Have you tried TCCI? They are the same shape, and I believe the same material, as A2 solids.
