I have to post this "Thank You" to Kathi of Wild Travel and Greg Brownlee of Jeff Neal.

Last year about this time I booked a Bongo hunt in Cameroon to be conducted by a PH I have hunted with a couple of times. He was the only fellow that my husband felt we would be safe with (of course, there are many, but with my husband being nearly blind and we are both old, we didn't want any surprises and this PH knew us.) Our contract with Jeff Neal stated that I would only hunt with this certain PH.

Dates, deposits and air fare (by Kathi) were all arranged and paid.

Then at the SCI convention in Reno, I found out that the PH had been hit by a Bongo and was seriously injured and would not be able to conduct the hunt.

My trip insurance wouldn't cover an injury to the PH as reason for cancelation. Thanks to Greg and Kathi, I received total reimbursement for my deposit and air fare. Not all booking agents or travel agents would be so helpful when canceling a safari.

Just wanted everyone to know what a great job they did on my behalf.

Excellent! A special circumstance like this can be written into the contract. Ordinarily a particular guide/PH cannot be guaranteed for obvious reasons but in this case Bob's condition should allow an exception.
