Mods, I hope you don't mind me posting this here.. It definately has its place in African hunting!! If not, I understand.. Just that this forum is always the most popular.. and its been a tad bit slow around here lately.. Any of you guys here in the US know of anywhere I can pick up some African or New Zealand brews?? Seems like every time I sit down and have a few, I always feel like having a beer that make me feel like I'm on vacation in the bush again ... and whats better than a cold Castle on a hot afternoon?? So far I 've only been able to find some SteinLager from NZ around these parts.. good, but there's definately better out there.. Anybody know where I can buy some of these fine brews here in the US?? Castle, Tusker, Kilimanjaro, Windhoek, Hansa, or some Speights(mmmm) from New Zealand... Thank you gents and cheers!

Castle and a few other SA brews are usually available at your local SA foods store. Never tried mail order but I wouldn't be surprised to find it was available that way as well. Just don't get the bottles with the twist off cap, they have all been flat for me.

http://www.africanhut.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=35&cat=Beers+%26+Ciders http://www.wallywine.com/s-346-africa.aspx Several years ago I ordered some beer from the African Hut. I just found Wally's Wine by internet search. The other source for South African stuff is https://www.shop-southafricans.com/ but they don't have beer. This is where I get my Five Roses Tea, Mrs. Ball's Chutney, Ouma Rusks. Regards, Terry Msasi haogopi mwiba [A hunter is not afraid of thorns]

Seems I have seen Tusker in a specialty beer shop here in Oregon. Perhaps I am wrong. My problem is that I'm always just so easily pleased with a cold oil can of Foster's ... P.S. Ever try Xingu black beer from Brazil? There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author

No but I had a couple "Brahma" beers in Rio many years ago, and had a headache for 2 days. Never could drink anything named after an animal again.
