It's new news. I'm sure we'll be seeing some blowhard gun writer extolling its virtues in the coming months.

As far as i knew, the only H&H mags of the past were the 375, 300 and 244.

Curtis, I can't open the site that was listed. However, H&H magnums also includes the 275 H&H. Once made in the United States, but mostly in England.

Now that we are over 6000 members maybe one of us could get the factory to give them one of the guns to evaluate for the forum.

Steve,
There's an extra . at the end of htm. Remove in your location bar, and you'll go right there.

Or just click here:

I stand corrected. Although, I thought the list was a bit on the short side.

Wasn't the 275 H&H what "Karamojo" Bell used, or am I thinking of some other British manufactured .275?

The 275 H&H mag is a belted magnum that is very similiar to the 7 mm Rem Mag. It has a slight body taper.

Thank you, GeorgeS, I finally got in. I guess since everyone is building bolt guns on the 470 bullet, H&H is feeling left out and decided to do one theirselves.

You're welcome, Steve. Unfortunately, they chose the .465" not the .475" bore. If they had gone .475" some of the big bullet manufacturers might have cranked out a few.
