I see most people hunt Namibia between June and September. I know before or after these months you may risk alot of rain. It seems July and August are the months to go. Any thoughts on this subject? Mauser K98

I hunted in the last part of April and we never saw rain, but it was a pretty dry year. I've heard the kudu rut is usually around June, that would be fun to see. Kyler

We hunted the last week of September and it was getting warm. Mid 90's during the day. This was just south of Etosha.

I hunted with V Fulton in late Sept on the conession just west of Etosha and needed a fan to sleep just too hot. The day wasn't bad as we were driving most of the day checking Leopard baits.

May thru Sept is best. You can borrow money but you can not borrow time. Go hunting with your family.

Well i was in Namibia one week ago and the weather was fine(winter now). You have only few leaves at the trees so you can see the game very early... But for huntig Kudu May is perfect because the they are searching for females... Last year was not dry in Namibia! One of the best year because they had a lot of rain !
