Anyone ever take a tour of Isandlwanda and Rorke's Drift? Any suggestions?

I'm planning a 2015 trip and my father, who accompanied me on my trip this past July in the Limpopo area, would like to join me again but do some sightseeing too, likely before the hunt. We're both retired military and I think battlefield staff tours would suit us.

I just returned the first week of December from doing just that. There was a discussion recently on the subject. You can check it out at:

I used Penny Farthing bed and breakfast. Very nice accommodations on Farm converted to B&B.
The owner, Foy, grew up there and his family had farms all over the area. He is a great tour guide and host. We toured Blood River, Talana Hill, Rorke's Drift and Isandhlwana.

Thank-you gentlemen. I'll talk with a few outfitters at the convention this weekend about this side trip.

If you enjoy Zulu and British history it is well worth it. Watch Zulu Dawn before. The Rattray farm is nearby and that where prince Charles and sons stayed. Sadly he was murdered but his set of DVD commentary is great to listen to. The Rourkes drift museum is quite a treasure. The battle sight is only one of three where markers mark where the soldiers fell. The other is Custers last stand and Scotland.
