I really miss not being in Dallas this year. For those of you who are attending, any chance of some "real-time" posts with pictures, gossip and insider information for someone with a need-to-know? _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

Will miss the Malbec you owe me! JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

I drank all the Malbec I had, so would have shown up empty handed anyway. However, my wife will visit my father-in-law in Patagonia in February; I'll make some special requests. _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

I second the request. Would be great to receive some updates on the show etc. Would love to hear how the AR dinner went and who met up with whom

Zim... will try to let you know what is going on. Ant Williams is not here this year; Anthony is manning the AH booth; lots of firearms and outfitters talking to each other

Hey Brian Am very jealous. Terry Anders and Wayne Bartlett went this year and keep sending me texts about what a great time they are having. Texts at 3 in the morning wearing a bit thin now, but all good. I know they are enjoying themselves tremendously and report that the dinner was great fun. Hope we see you in Zim this year?? Plenty rain up at Doma so bring a Machete

Frosty: I said hello to Wayne and Terry for a moment. I wish I had more time with them, but with two women who had never been to the show, I spent more time at clothes and jewelry booths than I did with safari companies. Will Wayne and Terry be in Atlanta for the African Hunting Show? We also had to leave very early Sunday morning because of the expected snow in Atlanta on Sunday evening. Getting up at 4:15 a.m. after the AR Comfort Inn party and going out to dinner later didn't make my group very happy, but we did beat the snow home. My ladies rewally enjoyed the entire experience, my daughter drooling over all the hunting destinations and my sweetie over the bling and clothes. Wink: Had some good Malbec at Fedora after the AR meet. Dang good restaurant and, of course, I forgot the name of the wine. I highly recommend Fedora, btw. It would have been a pleasure to share it with you and your ladies. I'm always amazed at how easily you all bypass Paris on your way to Africa. Get over your jet lag here, at least that's my recommendation. _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

After two years in Iraq, the DSC was fantastic. So much larger than the last time I attended. Judge G had a look on his face only a happy man could have. Retreever and Die Ou Jagter really did a lot of work to make the two AR events something special. I salute all the gentlemen and ladies who attended.
