Thank God!

I finally worked a deal to trade my S-2. A friend of mine who manages a big gunshop is trading me a room full of guns for it. I'll repost again, when I have all the details from my shopping spree.

Please advise,

I am selling the rifle as it didn't come as I ordered it, but I had to pay up front to order it and the damn gunshop here in Spain told me I was stuck with it.

Forgive me for saying so, but GOOD RIDDANCE!!!

Sig doubles are notoriously hard to sell except at large discounts.

I totally agree! BLAZER thumbdown That's why they make several brands, however. Confused

I hope he heard you Ray! Then we can do our velociraptor attack from both sides. Cool

There was a lack of communication between me and the Spanish gun shop where I ordered it. In short it wasn't the gun I ordered. No engraved pistol grip, no beaver tail forend. Same price and had to pre pay.

Some people don't like them, I have had a couple, one R93 (270 Win, 9.3x62) and one 95BBF (12g, 7x57R). The BBF I still have, it's a great gun. The R93 went to someone who wanted it more than me. They are nice rifles, but not good enough to knock back an offer of $500 more than I paid for it! The BBF does about 90% of my hunting anyway.
It is the best featured combo gun available here in Australia for the money. Accurate, groups don't shift due to heating of the BBL, reasonably light (2.7kg), good scope mounts.
Some people just don't like them. Life would be pretty boring if we all liked the same stuff!

Cheers, Dave.

I don't beleive there is anything wrong with the Blaser rifles, some will dissagree. The only thing wrong with them they are overpriced, but they do come with great wood.

Mine was not as I ordered it.

I think one in 9.3x74R would be a great rifle but I ain't gunna shoot a .470 ever again thumbdown
