Now here is a real bargain. A five day tuskless elephant cow hunt in Zimbabwe, for only $5000 including the trophy fee. If for some reason, you don’t get your elephant, $2000 is refunded. Deposit of $2000 required. Hunt is in Omay North, which is adjacent to Lake Kariba and Matusadona National Park. Air into Bulawayo, Harare, or Vic Falls with meet and greet, and then charter into Omay. Martin will arrange an overnight at a hotel if arriving late in either Harare or Vic falls. The charter pilot will meet you at the airport, help you clear guns, and then charter straight into the Omay. Charters are: $ 2000 round trip from Harare $ 2600 round trip from Bulawayo $ 2250 round trip from Vic Falls for up to two hunters, Ground transfer is available for $600. It takes about 10 hours from Bulawayo. That is a long, friggin’ way. There is a 2% government levy (tax) on all daily fees and trophy fees. Tuskless cows are non-exportable trophies and hence have no Dipping and Packing fees. Video is available with the rock of videographers, Shaun Buffee, for $100/day. Shaun has his restricted DG license and should be ready to go elephant hunting for real come late October. Shaun did the video for 99% of Buzz’s elephant hunting DVD.
