We have just lost a Cal Pappas.

Does anyone know about MacD37. Enjoy him very much. I have not seen in him a month of Sundays.

I have some inquiries out as to his status. If I find anything out…will report.

Did you learn anything? Sadly, for us, I think it is obvious. That said he deserves our send off.

Agreed. Many have left the forum, not their earthly presence, because of silly crap.

Considering his age it is a responsible inquiry. No one wants MacD37 dead. We do want to tip our hat to him if gone on.

If I ever go missing, I would not be upset at folks asking or wondering.I will make sure never to ask about you Lavaca.

He last posted back in March but Saeed can obviously see that he visited here in May. There is an email contact on his member profile maybe that is worth a try, if he has gone or is indisposed someone maybe still monitoring his emails. Hope he is okay, I always enjoy his posts and experience.

I did but can’t remember his last name. A poster here that goes by Oryxhunter1983 went and shot doubles with him once. He would remember his name.

For what it’s worth, I found a photo from 2009 of guys at a DRSS shoot, one was identified as Dugaboy1, which was what MacD37 went by, and I recognized another as Michael Podwika (Retreever on AR). I imagine Michael would have some sort of info, if only a real name. I’ve sent an email to the address I have for Michael and will see if any info comes from it.

I used to talk to Mac occasionally on the phone 10-15 years ago. He never mentioned motorcycles.

He worked for American Airlines and liked to talk about helping feeding his family by hunting while the men were gone in WWII.

He grew up in South Texas I believe.

I know he lived in El Paso in the past, but I'm not sure where he grew up.

At some point, I think he owned a gun shop in El Paso.
