The Joberts in bed with the former anti-hunting president? He and his family profited off the arrangement? Say it ain't so...

Where is cryformebotswana when you need him?

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
- Rudyard Kipling

Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.

Quite interesting and damning with respect to the Khama brothers and Joubert. Thanks for posting.

The sad part is that this was known a long time ago, but no one dared to publish it during the Khama presidency . . .

Follow the money . . . works very well when applied to anti-hunting organizations, among others.

For a lot of years since independence, Botswana was the personal fiefdom of the Khamas, to do as they pleased

Not really news, but folks can do with reminding from time to time.

But I gotta say, of all the things I've heard in my life, "no corruption in Africa" has never been one of them rotflmo

Not news?

Nothing is truly news until the press where it happens is free, strong, independent, unbiased, honest and ethical enough to publish it.

Where it isn’t, there is only yellow journalism, party propaganda, and yes, as we have come to call it, fake news.

We have plenty of that everywhere, including in the USA.

Bravo Botswana.

Sadly, there are very few honest journalists around nowadays, anywhere.

Practically everything one reads from official sources is paid for comments, designed to sway the way you should see things.
