OK! We just received an Opening Bid on the 10 day Small Cats Hunt for two hunters.

Let's get the ball rolling on the Shi-awela Safaris South African hunt, the Amazon Peacock Bass fishing trip and the Australian Cull Hunt.

The Cull hunt in Australia is a fantastic way for a hunter who does not have many opportunities to hunt with his big-game rifle to develop a lifetime's worth of skills and handling familiarity before going an an African dangerous game hunt.

Mark,
It's great to see your chapter doing their online auctions again. I don't know if you remeber but my son and I made our first african hunting trip in 2005 by winning the bid on the Shi-awela hunt you offered. It is great to see the support that Ken offers.
For those of you considering one of these hunts I can't say enough good things about Shi-awela Safaris and owners Ken and Jo Ball. They made the trip for me and my 10 year old son very special. For those of you thinking of taking your first trip or a trip with your son or daughter this would be a great trip. As a matter of fact my son and I are talking about returning in 07. I may have to watch this auction.
Anyone with questions about Shi-awela should contact me or see the brief write up and pictures in the Hunting Trip section during July 05
Mike

Hello again Mike! Thanks for the sharing your experiences with Shi-awela Safaris.

Ken and Jo Ball are wonderful hosts and loyal supporters of the Low Country Chapter. They especially love hosting families with children and they make sure that everyone has a great time, even if they don't hunt.

They donate a trip to the Chapter every year, and every year the winning bidder comes back with a great hunt report.

Go to the Shi-awela Safaris website for more information about the variety of Safari experiences that they have to offer.

Hello Mark,

Looks like some good trips on the auction. I met the guys from Shi-awala at the Lowcountry fundraiser two years ago. Nice folks IMO. Their table was like a party for past clients. Smiler

Mark, I hunted with Ken Ball at Shi-awala in 2004. Ken and Jo are teriffic hosts. This was my first trip to Africa and it exceeded my expectations--lots of good trophy animals, great food, and wonderful hospitality. I am off to Zimbabwe in June for a rematch with the Buff. George

Come on guys, doesn't anyone want to catch a trophy Peacock Bass in Brazil, or go on their first African Safari?

What about the Small Cats of Africa hunt for the serious African trophy collector?

Anyone who has plans to hunt dangerous game can get professional shooting instruction and a lifetime's worth of "trigger time" with their big-bore rifle on the Australian Cull Hunt and Shooting School.

Go to www.scilowcountry.org and place your Bid in our ONLINE AUCTION for one of these great trips!

Hello Mark,
Just got back from a shooting school with the Boykin brothers. They're looking forward to their June Safari with Piet Steyn, Safaris Njema and Buks Botha, Bateleur Safaris. You'll recall they purchased these at the auction last year.

Safe Hunting,

Clint

Thanks for all the positive feedback about Shi-awela Safaris, guys.

Their Donation offers a wonderful opportunity for someone to get a great deal on their 1st African Safari.

It's also a great deal for an experienced African hunter like Terry to hunt in a new area with lots of game, wonderful accomodations and fabulous hosts.

Shi-awela has a proven track record and an excellent reputation, so does Safaris Njema.

Go to www.scilowcountry.org for all the details.

Let's get some bidding going!
