What are the best areas/outfitters for warthog? What outfitters near Kruger could be recommended for dagga boys? Recommendations would be highly appreciated.

Dont know who the best outfitter near Kruger is for Cape Buff.

But the Ellisras and Thabazimbi area's in North West Limpopo province regularly produce huge Warthogs.

I agree with the Limpopo area near Ellisras, I have taken some fine warthogs there.

For sheer numbers, I think the Eastern Cape is best for warthog (see my post in Pig-hunting forum), but they don't get the ivory as in up north.

Last week I shot my Buffalo in a concession that borders Kruger. I was with Infinito Safaris. See my my report and pictures in the Hunting Report section. Buff has 36" Spread and 16" Boss.

Don't know about the buff, but based on my one and only trip, I go with the others about the north western part of the limpopo. Lots of good outfitters in that area. We hunted with www.cruisersafaris.com/

I hunted with Claude and Jill Kleynhans of Mafigeni safaris in 03. Took a buff from a concession called Klaseri(sp?). It borders Kreuger. Very nice facilities and I highly recommend Mafigeni. PM me if you want more info.

I took a very nice old buffalo with Chris Troskie off of Kruger's southern border across the Crocodile River from the Park near Melelane, Mpumalanga (see recent hunting report on AR). Chris is based out of Ellisras, Limpopo. I've not hunted warthog but have seen a number of them in the area, but none like the pictures that Dave Culpepper has above!

Can't go wrong with Spear who postd above.. Ive hunted with them 3 times. There are some fantastic buff on the place, and yes, it's right next to Kruger..

I'd add on to Scottyboy's suggestion to contact Spear if you're looking for a big buffalo near Kruger. I wasn't buffalo hunting with them, but did see some very nice bulls while there. I have photos of one that I'd guess at 43"-44" that is on his property. The good news is, the photos I have are buffalo porn, he was breeding a cow, so his genes will live on, even if he doesn't!

I have hunted with Jan, but not for buffalo. The territories he has access to are very good for buffalo.

Whould go for limpopo and the mokopane district !!i have shoot many big pigs there and this place seems to produce many wery nice pigs ! hunted with Matswane safaris.
