I attempted to download and play this. Unsuccessful, but as a warning to others it did change the settings on my video card which I then had to reset.

Powerful rifle. The shooter got thumped pretty good, but the rifle took a hit as well. I cringed for the wood!

That girl in the video is a gorgeous little thing. I wish I could go back thiry (or more) years in time, and be half as pretty. She certainly came out of the right gene pool. Lucky girl!!

Was the voice that of "Walther?" Mean, setting the poor little beggar up like that. The young lass was indeed pleasing to the eye. Cool

Hello,

I'm new to the board, so please excuse me if I'm asking questions that are considered common knowledge on your forum.

Does anybody have details on the rifle? Does it belong to a board member?

Judging by the muzzle it's a very large caliber, but the case looked fairly short. I just watched it again, not that short after all.

Gentlemen,

The shooter is a friend of young lady. The man standing next to her is her father, and very close friend of mine for many years.

We have had no one ever get hurt by shooting this rifle.

It is a 577 Tyrannosaur, made by A-Square, and it belongs to me.

Walter is busy on the computer designing a membership card for those who shoot this rifle.

We have a security card printer, and he decided that we should honour those who shoot this rifle by giving them a card they can be proud of.

I was told not to interfer, "you always mess everything I do! Go do something else!"

So I have left him in the shooting room, and have come out to the workshop to make bullets for a friend of mine.

I will take a photo of whatever he comes up and post it later.

LOL. I think its a good idea. It should be gold colored though, so it stands out.

In NA at least, t-shirts that say "I did {insert activity} and survived!" seem to be ever-popular. Maybe a cool t-shirt that says "I shot the 577 T-Rex and survived" along with a Dubai, UAE logo would be appreciated by your victims, er champions!

Cheers
Chris

Walter designed a card, just like a credit card, and printed on the same plastic. It has the AR logo buffalo, and underneatht it he has written:

I have shot the 577 Tyrennosaur, a rifle that generates over 11,000 ft/lbs of energy.
The Lamborghini Galardo, in comparison, develops a measly 633 ft/lbs!
And I am still ALIVE!

He wants to put the photo of the shooter on the other side of the card.

I will post a photo of it tomorrow.

This is what Walter has decide everyone shooting this rifle should get, with his photo on the other side.

It is so nice having friends like Walter.
Yesterday he told me to leave the shooting room so he can work on this "in peace and quiet".

After he had finished, he said "it is so nice not to have you here. In fact, it would be really nice if you moved out of here, and let me stay and look after this place"

"Not on your life mate!" was my answer.

"Typical! Always in a negative mood" came back!

If I thought that there was even the remotest chance that someone would drop one of my rifles upon shooting it, the he/she would never get their grubby little hands on it!

Maybe I don't have enough rifles not to care.

Incidently it is bloody dangerous having a 12+lb rifle flying randomly around in a confined space, an accident waiting to happen, not what I call controlled shooting. I fact very poor gunmanship.

Call me old fashioned........

John,

Welcome to the forum.

We know that the rifle might fly out of the shooter's hand, and give them plenth of space for that.

We have never had anyone get hurt, appart from the shooter's pride that is.

Thank you for the welcome.

I would have thought that the flight of the rifle would be fairly random, and that very attractive young lady was certainly not out of range. Personally I would not allow my daughter to be in the same proximity, if I knew potentially what could happen.

I treat all my firearms with respect, including the old Anschutz single shot .22 LR that was my first rifle about 45 years ago.

Accidents with firearms don't happen until they do.

Different strokes I suppose.

Once again, thanks for the welcome.
