Robo-"Facts" to an SCI ethics committee may not be facts as the rest of the hunting world sees them. And you are certainly correct that I have never been a member of any so called ethics committee.More like a self serving Mongolian goat fuck. Please spare us the high and mighty.Should you be in possesion of "facts" not mentioned here, please let 'em rip.P.S.- No offense to any Mongols who may be monitoring this thread.

Too late, they are getting restless in Ulan Bator, and want to know who stole the goat. Oh, that would be the SCI. JCN

With all of the great information that is available on this forum I really hate to see posts that are allegedly to be facts, which only tend to tarnish the reputation of outstanding professionals. Whether or not the person that makes these posts think that, through second hand information from someone they feel should know, what he is talking about it still boils down to rumors. If you are going to mention an outfitter or their name in person, I would think that you would want to be positive of any and all facts before you make slanderous comments. For those that read these posts that do not have any information on the subject, they go away with the impression that if these guys say it, it must be true. I wonder how many times there are posts that are from unhappy clients, disgruntled PHs, jealous outfitters or others that just want to pump themselves up, that are read and taken as fact by those who visit this site. There are enough problems in the hunting industry without having to resort to half truths. In response to crane, you are not nor have ever been a member of SCI ethics committee and your claim to inside information comes from a Mozambique PH who had nothing to do with the alleged hunt. The same goes for Mickey1 as far as inside knowledge, as he has stated that he doesnt work for SCI nor is involved on the boards in any position. The SCI ethics committee recently sent a letter to the outfitter involved in all of this controversy saying that he had not engaged in any unethical conduct. Lets keep this forum the way it is meant to be and that should be JUST THE FACTS!

Robo I know who Mickey is and he has been around a long time and posting too BTW. So what are your "facts" again? You seem very interested in joining in only after one outfitter name was posted, irrespective of the long story of lurking and loosing screen names etc etc. Do you have any commercial interest with the named person? Just the facts please, not the hyperbole.

Robo I have and will stand by any information I post here. I have posted information an various outfitters here occasionaly and nobody has ever demonstrated that any of the information was false or misleading. I sense that you like Ronnie, I do too. One of a number of PHs in Africa that I would trust with my life, but not with my money. As far as information on your hero, be careful what you wish for. It may not be what you expect. I stated he was sent a letter ruling 'No Ethical Violation'. Not, as you stated, 'A Letter of Apology'. He was in the wrong place, at the wrong time with the wrong people. It was only his sense of what a cluster fuck the Helicopter Hunt would become that kept he and his client out of deeper trouble. You sound like the Booking Agent that came here to defend OOA after I commented on what a bunch of thieves they were a year or so ago.
