I dropped off my Stats final this morning and just when I thought the day couldn't get any better....I received Nick's Buffalo video in the mail. [Big Grin] [Big Grin] Thanks a bunch for sending video around like this.

What a great show!!! I was expecting home-style but was very surprised and pleased with the excellent quality of this video. Great job on the details, over-all flow, story-line, wildlife (even the bugs) and hunt scenes!!!

Outside of Saeed's trailers, this is the only video I've ever seen of African hunting. Looked like you did some serious humping it to get to those Buffs. Good thing it paid off and great job on the combo!! I'm sure that 505 had to give you a good trampling! [Eek!] [Eek!]

Thanks again for filming your hunt and making the extra effort to share it with us. Truly awesome!!! [Big Grin]

Send me a PM with the next person in line and I'll get the video off ASAP (gotta watch it one more time [Big Grin] ).

I disagree, I thought Nick's video bordered on triple X porn. I mean look at it....

Fancy rifles, BIG bulls, lots of skin and jeeze, that music!

I would love to see the video so please put me on the list. Also I have my own video of a Namibia bowhunt that I would be glad to put into circulation. I am sure it is not of the quality of Nick's video but it is the best an amateur like myself could do with a handheld VCR.
Let me know if anyone is interested and I will put it in the mail.
Again please put me on the list for Nick's buff video..eyedoc

Nickudu,
I understand that there are copies circulating in the US, Canada and Australia... Is there any chance that a copy might find the way over the pond, to us poor fellows in the old world? I am sure that many AR-members here should enjoy it very much, and I would gladly administrate an address-list etc. [Smile]

Marterius,
I'll be sending a copy to England, when we get to that point on the list. I'll see what can be done from there. As the video is in "VHS" format,it may require conversion to "PAL"?? In the meantime, email to me, your address and get listed.

Ok! I had an idea that the film was on a Video-CD, but this seems to be a little more complicated, and I am not sure about these formats... We have a VHS-system here, but my VCR says VHS-PAL, so I guess it might not be the same VHS-system that you have over there...?
Someone on the list that are able to convert?

I will write you a mail right now, anyway!

Regards,
Martin

Nick,
Just finished watching your video - Outstanding! What a great safari and a superior video. I felt your pain and your triumph. Where the hell did that branch come from? Your "Deception" bull and my Masailand bull could have been twins. I truely enjoyed it, thanks for sharing. Very nicely done. I have posted a copy to our buddy N'gagi. It leaves Wyoming tomorrow at 8AM via priority mail.

I must agree Nicks video was top notch. My wife said she enjoyed it more than any of my other hunting videos. The boys and i cheated and watched it several times.

Nick,
I would be more than happy to organise the movement of the video in the UK and Europe if that helps.

Marterius,

If like me, you have a video recorder that was produced in the last three years, you will find it plays both the PAL and NTSC(American) systems.
I gfound this out more by accident than design.
Failing that, get someone who has a system that plays NTSC and record it on PAL.
Hope this helps.
DJ.
