I'm going with Venture South Outfitting (Ian Blakeway) for 8 days of free range Nyala and bushbuck hunting in KwaZulu Natal next April.

I'm bringing the Model 70 in 375 H&H and working on some lightweight, 230-250 grain loads for longer range shooting.

My M70 .375H&H gets along with 250gr North Fork BC's and TTSX's with H4895. Good for 2850fps.

Hi Frank,

Take a look at the Cutting Edge Bullets 230 gr. ESP Raptor. I have worked up a load to about 2950 fps with excellent accuracy. Have not shot anything yet, but hope to this fall.

Frank, you could even try hornady's 225 grain inter-lock. Should work well on the two you listed.

Thanks guys,

I have the 230 grain TSX, 250 grain TTSX and 235 grain CEB raptors in my bullet cupboard.

I got the great accuracy out of the CEBs (< 3/4", three shot groups) at 2886 fps using Reloader 15. And Brownells has them on sale for $49.99/Box so I ordered two more boxes this morning.
