I don't believe Ebola will ever (ever being relative, I suppose) be eradicated in Africa. There are too many places health services and epidemiologists just don't go, and while tracking diseases like that is a handful enough for CDC in the 'States it is well nigh impossible in Africa. You just have to keep your ear to the ground with local sources of information to have an idea of what's happening where.
