Here are a selection of pics from my last seven weeks in Africa, that I thought it would be nice to share.

We did 3 weeks of our annual wing shoots which accounted for 20,000 shells and the balance was plains game and a buff cow with a visit to the Kruger thrown in for good measure.

Being home now feels very strange not to mention I have to put the fuel into the car myself in London...!!! Wink

Thanks Guys.

Tim are you still out there? I was going to try and get in touch to meet up but I never managed to find a spare day!

Fine pictures, those pigs sure are UGLY sob's ain't they? Wish I had one on my wall with these from Fla. They'd make good company for each other.

Since you posted so many pics of them, how many did you kill?

Thanks much for sharing,
George

Possibly, but no Stag this year. I have 30 days in Africa coming up quickly, July/Aug. I drew a Muzzleloader Elk tag in Idaho for Nov/Dec. Are you doing a Boar hunt this winter? I may be up for that. Maybe expand it to see some Stag country.

Thanks for sharing the nice pics. Seeing those Kruger buff reminded me of when I told my cousin I was going buff hunting, He asked why in the world I would want to hunt something that just mills around the Cruiser in herds.
He had been on "Safari" in Kenya. rotflmo

A pig to be proud of Kiri! Smiler

Has Elaine changed her views on taxidermy being snuck into the hall-way as yet?

Ian,

Nope, no change in the view for the hall way. Neither of us have been forgiven for Eddie's placement!!

That piggie is going to be a full skull mount which I have arranged for a traditional African painted decoration on it.

We managed to shoot three that day but my mate missed a couple in addition to those, but that one was the biggest. Shot with the 260 just behind the ear from the sticks.

Blacktailer, the buff in the Kruger are indeed a different animal when in the cars. I'm not sure how I feel about the way the Kruger is going as standards in the park seem to be falling at a dramatic rate even in the last couple of years.
