Just a quickie for now. JudgeG and I got back last night.

If you are going through Amsterdam with a firearm, make damned sure you have that in-transit permit they require!!!!! Make extra copies and have them available especially if you are returning from Tanzania. More on this silly bullshit later.

See also the report in Hunting Reports.

Here is my buff of the trip.

I had a great trip, as usual Pierr'e and his staff were outstanding.

More to come later.

Congrats! I noted the Safari Ching Sling on your rifle and I'm looking forward to your field report on it, if you would be so kind.

Nice buff. Did the Judge get to shoot anything or did he let you shoot all the good ones? Looking forward to the rest of the report with more details and pics.

The "ascott" is really my wife's scarf. I took it to RSA and Zim last year and it brought me luck. It has become known at the "mojo scarf". It goes with me whever I hunt in Africa. I always put it on whenever I make a kill. When she sees the pictures, it reminds here that even though I am far away, I never forget the special lady that support me 150% in my efforts to travel to strange lands and shoot big mean things. She is the love of my life, and I never want her to forget it.
