Did anyone attend the "African Pride" hunting show in Atlanta last January?
I think it was arranged by "African Sporting Gazette".
The 2012 show is January 13 &14 and I'm wondering if it's worth a 6 hour drive, 1 night hotel stay and $60.00 entrance fee?

Thanks for any info.

Yes my wife and I went ,and it was very nice. I guess there were 50 or so booths . We met a lot of interesting folks and got lots of ideas for future hunts and travel.
I think we were there the last day of the show as not many clients were walking around. We met a few big names in the hunting world , and had a good time .

I went last year, i dont think i would drive 6 hours to go. You also only need one day which was $40 last year.
I did have fun though and got to meet some of our AR friends.
I havent decide if i am going this year or not.

I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same.

Is there a website for the show? I'd like to see who the exhibitors will be. I went last year and enjoyed it and met some AR folks who don't go to Dallas or SCI.

JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times.

Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.
