Hyena

Fluffy, your first cat when you were a boy. Bill you have to let Fluffy go. I know Fluffy meant a lot to you as a boy, but in this harsh world we all lose something we love. Fluffy, move to the light.

If I could see them head on, I might wager that the last one is a sea lion.

Thanks for playing along guys...I'd have never known #3 which my son shot in SA a few years ago.

1. Leopard
2. Hyena
3. Aardwolf

Here's another picture of the leopard, with the lion skull posted previously for comparison:

…and the aardwolf, aka Fluffy, with the lion:

The key to the aardwolf is the molars and premolars. They are peg like. Sea lions also have peg like molars and premolars that are very similar. Sea lions, however also have very large sagittal crests (the ridge of bone running down the top-middle of the cranium). They also have very short interorbital distances. The second picture of the aardwolf shows a very broad distance between the eyes.

pretty cool.
