If you go to Reno for SCI and stay at the Atlantis...they now will book a room. Get one while you can. Jan 21 thru 24 is the show.

Harry,

Do they have any prices yet or are they just taking your name and number and the Atlantis will get back to you?

They had prices of as I recall $170 for the Tower amd $210 for someplace else.
I think I paid $166 this year so they went up a bit of course.
It is just easier to stay in the Atlantis and walk across the street to the show than work the buses etc.
The buffet in the Atlantis is one of the best to my way of thinking.
I am booked in the Tower and have a confirmation number.

i booked my room at the silver legacy for next year when i checked out this year. if you know anyone who is a member of PHASA, they can get you a special rate there. this year it was only $62 Sun through Thurs, then about $125-130 for Fri and Sat- a very big discount.

I booked 3 rooms at the Peppermill earlier this week. They didn't have the SCI contract back either. I booked regular rate and will change it when I get back from Ethiopia next month.

We booked 6 rooms at the Atlantis. Rooms are $179 in the "old" tower or $209 in the "new" tower.

We were at Peppermill this year. It was okay, stayed in the older section. I just didn't really like having to taxi and shuttle back and forth, especially when the convention ended. Anyone remember the long lines for the taxi's and shuttles? The Atlantis is RIGHT there.

But, we called and just asked for rooms and they have them available right now. Rumor has it though, if you book 10 or more rooms you can get a discount.
