I hate coming home empty handed. Maybe it's makes me less of a hunter, but I'll bet if I was on what would probably be my one and only lion hunt any lion would be better than no lion. Lion hunting isn't cheap and many people are not able to go on multiple hunts until a suitable lion is found. $25,000+ is a very expensive plains game hunt for most people.

I will love to hunt a cat I never did and I think will not happen in the near future.

I wonder where the pressure to shoot an immature lion comes from.

The client who books an expensive daily rate (ie a lion safari rate), hunts hard for one, two, three maybe four safaries and goes home empty handed each time

OR

The safari operator who offers such safaries and pockets the daily fees but doesn't deliver the animal?
