..........To those who use Express sights regularly ,,Is there any thing a miss using express sights that are totally flat on top ..., no V at all ....At 50 yrds my 416 is printing perfectly in front of the bead ,.,.,and it is very fast on target ...I really like all the visibility ..???????Thanks ...

If it works for you, then use the sight you have! I don't think, however, it would work for me, but stranger things have happened! Not much Stranger than a flat topped rear sight, but a little stranger, I guess.

sumwun forget to file the V or square notch in that ... but if you like it ...

You would effectively have shotgun sights and as such don't try any shots beyond 50. This will work best only if your gun fits you really well.

I would suggest that you at least have a vertical line engraved in the rear blade and filled with gold or silver. Otherwise you will shoot left and right as you have nothing to guide your horizontal alignment.

If you file a notch, you will probably have to lower your front bead to stay in the bull. A small notch with no V will probably work best.

The wide V is there to give you a point of reference in the horizontal plane without obscuring your target. It's a proven concept.
