Looks like "Gomek" of St. Augustine Florida. A saltwater crocodile of 17' - 18' 1", depending on one's source. Gomek passed away around 1997 and was thought to be 70+ years old.

I do look like that, and I feed myself, and never go near a pool!

No way in hell I feed that thing off of the end of a 6' stick.

Big croc. I recently returned from Zim and we sold the tuskless meat to the Lake Kariba Croc farm. Last year at the farm, one of the workers was feeding the big breeder crocs and lost an arm to one. The croc was shot afterwards. They are very fast when they want to eat.
The photo that creeps me out is of the big salty being fed in the zoo in Queensland I think. Anyone have a photo of that croc called Goliath?

Honestly, out of all the things he did (including his impersonation of Michael Jackson - feeding crocs while holding his baby), this is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Hey Steve, why don't you splash water at the croc while you stand in the water...no, get a little closer as he doesn't seem to notice you.
What I can't figure out is how Steve passed from this earth from a stingray. He had so many other opportunities that were imminently more likely to occur. Watching Steve Irwin or Mark Sullivan is like going to a NASCAR race...you know there's going to be a bad wreck. It's just a matter of when and which corner.
