So cough him up before June.
Thanks

P.M. me your shipping address and he shall appear.

I just wish that I had the frequent flyer points that the little dude has!

He does get offended if you put an "a" in his name, though. Big Grin ... or if you run out of single malt or Partagas maduros.

Biebs sent me the Little E that accompanied y'all to Karl's last year. I sent it to JeffH and Jeff sent it to Anton Dahlgren in Sweeden. IIRC, Anton still has that particular iteration of Little E.

I'm headed for Jumbo in July, leaving on July 8. Do you have enough time after you return to forward L.E. to Alabama?

I seem to detect an open slot in May and would be delighted to have him accompany me to the Caprivi for an elephant rondevous.

We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!

Ernie will be embarking on a couple of new destinations this fall with me.. Come late Oct, he'll be up in the crags and scree slopes of BC looking for a long haired billy goat to take back home. Then he's off to stay in a yurt and sip mare's milk with the locals while trying to stay warm in the Kyrgyzstan high country in Nov while looking over the herds of big Mid Asian ibex billies.
He'd better brush up on his glassing and horse riding abilities!

Ernest is just too busy. I'm going to get my own Ernest for Zim in August. I wish it weren't so, but...

I think we need an Ernest Part Deux. Where can I purchase his twin brother?

My son and I will be going on our very first safari Sept. 27 thru Oct. 14 We will be hunting with Martin Pieters. We have 4 buff and 2 tuskless on quota and possibly 2 hippo! We will be pushing Martin 24/7 rather than his usual 22/7 pace. So if anyone needs Little Ernest's experience and mojo, it is us first timers. If he will be available to us, please let me know.

Thanks,

Bill E.

P.S.--We are getting excellent coaching and advice from the very experienced and very gracious Mr. Bill Campbell.

The Joy is mine for Begno and for Bill E.

I've already contacted Begno, so, Bill E., just send me a p.m. with your address, etc. I'll get Ernest (he's kind of like Santa and can be in multiple places at once) on his way.

You may have to "lend" him to a needy Africaphile in the meantime, but that's what this site is all about.

Here's a double Ernest photo for you. I just told Little Ernest that he's going to Africa lots of times this summer and he's excited!

What I'm trying to say... perhaps, not so well, is that I'll send you one as my treat. Just pass it around after you use it, or if someone in the family becomes attached... that's o.k. too.

How this started was when Scott Terry needed some good luck on an elephant hunt. I sent him the first Little Ernest and it sure worked for him. Since then, I've had the pleasure of sending several around, and some have had more experience than others, but all have had good hunts, good cigars and perhaps a tad too much wine.

More than one has ended up (let's say "retired"?) with a wife or grandchild and that's good too.

Just send me a p.m. and I'll get yours on the way.

Heck, it makes me feel like I'm going, too and adding a little fun to everyone's safari. Vicarious, perhaps, but better than just watching Jerry Springer. Big Grin

Stay well,

I am indebted and grateful to JudgeG who has deigned to make certain a Lil Ernest accompanies my dad and myself on our elephant and leopard safari which begins next week.

JudgeG, Biebs, DoubleDon, Michael458, srose, Kebco, Retreever among many others I've not remembered to include - well, my father would say "these people are what family is all about".

And he's right.

Thanks all, truly....
Paul

I have a Little Ernest. He went to Costa Rica Tarpon fishing in May. Then to Malapati, Zim in August and he is just back from Munyamadzi, Zambia.

If anyone needs him now, let me know, I'll send him on. I need him back by mid March, for Elephant in Malapati.

Butch, based on your recent hunt, you should take a small army of "Little Ernests". You pushed your luck on that last escapade, for sure!

I have a Li'l Ernest, sent to me by the Judge, who accompanied me on my Zim Ele hunt three weeks ago. Due to an injury I have yet to post the pics of the little guy with our Eles - yes, he was again successful - but I would be happy to pass him along to anyone leaving in the next 30 days. Just PM me your mailing address.
