Nickudu,

Great article, Thanks for posting.

Mink and Wall Tents don't go together. Especially when you are sleeping in the Wall Tent.

Another great article...makes me think about an African buffalo slam for the fun of it! Hmmm...Mark Young posted about a CAR buff hunt....

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

As is so very often the case, I enjoyed that read, and learned some things to boot (among others, that an impromptu tracheotomy can be survived!). Thanks for that, and all the other good stuff you post here, Nick.

Cheers,

KG

Thanks Nickudu,

Really interesting.
When in the CAR I heard very good things about Christophe MORIO.
He is a PH for Bernard Varin the outfitter of BLV Safaris in the CAR.
Today I learnt that the outfitter Bernard Varin, 51, died last month from malaria in his out-of -the-way camp. I met him twice in the airport at Bangui, a nice and cheerful guy.

So now Christophe MORIO could be alone guiding for BLV safaris.
