great story.i especially liked the comment from the idiot from Singapore who tried to make the historical fact that Zimbabwe was once called Rhodesia into some sort of racist statement. what a fool!

Right, well, most of him survived. He did lose an arm and had numerous punctures.

OTOH, he did not suffer the kind of injury that a friend of mine (the one written up by Capstick) had from a hippo in Zambia a year before I was there –– as the article reports that he now has three children.
