Hey all, I know this isn't the right forum, but this gets a lot of posters that watch lots of movies so I thought you would forgive this.

My stepfather's 61st birthday is coming up and we went in together and bought him a Michael Garman figure, the Mountain Man Bronzetone. I'm having it put on a solid maple base and want to put a plaque on it with a quote from Jeremiah Johnson (one of his three favorite movies, with Mountain Men and Tombstone). The quote goes something like

"people come to the mountains looking for something that the mountains can't give, the mountains are what they are."

I don't own the movie, and don't want to ask him for the direct quote and tip him off or take away from the surprise. Anybody own the movie or watch it enough they can give me the direct quote?

The internet movie data base ( www.imdb.com ) has a number of quotes from the movie, although I didn't see that one.....

Click on quotes on the search engine on the left....

I found that list too, thanks. but it didn't have the one I am looking for. Worst case I will go borrow the video tomorrow and watch the movie. but that may tip it off.
