Jim,

A little late in my response, but you shold also talk to Bill Williamson at Reno. He hooked me up with George Parkin for leopard in 2000. Here's a link to his web site. If you click through to the Zimbabwe page you'll see a photo of George and me with my leopard.

You should be able to find Bill at the Russ Broom booth.

In regards to meeting, I beleive that we'll try and all hook up at 3:00 PM Friday at the Barnes Booth. That's been the plan the past few years, anyway.

Hope to see you in Reno.

Take Care,

-Steve

Jeff,

From what Barry has told me, they have a promo video that they will have at the show. If Barry is doing his own full length video, that would been great!

Yes the US immigration has finally ok'ed Brents Visa! He's going to stay at my home for a few days in Febuary, I'm really looking forward to it, did Brent PH for you?

I'll be at the show Wed thru Sat, also. I hope we can hook up, I'd like to say hello.

Until then...............

Yep Ron - I will be there. I hear Brent Leesmay is going to get to come over this year. I also heard that Barry is coming out with a video of his own. I wonder if Mark Bucanan's next video will be ready by Reno?

I will be in Reno on Wed-Sat.

I will second what widowmaker said.

I hunted with Buffalo Range Safaris last year, (<----took that hippo over there) and had a great time. I will be hunting with them again for buffalo and sable in March. My buddy Richard took a very large (7 foot plus) leopard with them last year. Barry and Rob will take care of you.

Jim, yes they will be at Reno, they have their own both. What do you need to know, I've taken 88 trophies with them on 5 safaris, they hunt a few different areas in Zim.

Meet them in Reno, you want to talk with Barry Styles, he's one of the owners.

I'll try to post a few photo's here, It hasn't been working latly for me, Maybe it's me, I don't get along with PC's. Just give me hides and feathers and I'll do just fine!!!!

Hi Guys:

I am looking to book a Leopard Hunt in 06.... and my buddy wants to book a Buffalo hunt with me. It seems that the best deals seem to be coming out of Zimbabwe.

I would be really interested in any outfitters that any of you used in the Zambesi Valley, near Mana Pools. I hear there is some great leopard being taken out of the Zambesi Valley, not to mention mucho Buffalo.

I have been in contact with Chifuti Safaris and will see them in Reno next month, but their prices seem sort of steep.

Has anybody hunted the Zambesi Valley for Leopard with a great outfitter with reasonable Leopard & Buffalo prices???

Like I said, I will be in Reno for 4 days at the SCI convention and will be able to check them out if they are their.

Regards... Jim P.

Here's a good recommendation: www.john-sharp-safaris.com as you will see, a picture's worth a thousand words. I hunted with him and you won't find any better. jorge
