Ma BakerChamalaya Camp - Bubye
I have been offered some dates in June to hunt in Bubye conservancy out of Chamalaya camp. I have hunted out of Ripple Creek previously. Has anyone been based at this camp? If so, what are the game numbers and quality like in this part of Bubye? Main target is Eland and Kudu.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

sevenmagltd.Although I have not camped out of Chamalaya, I have hunted in that area of the Bubyi. There is a natural waterhole close by the camp where I spent several hours taking photos and waiting for a shot. I had a huge impala, kudu and beast of an eland come in to water. The scene was so surreal that I could not bring myself to shoot anyone of the three animals. I would chose Chamalaya Camp in a heartbeat!!
